YMCA Afterschool
Education, Responsibility, and Caring
The YMCA of Pomona Valley offers school-age child care right here at the YMCA. These learning support programs offer a theme-based, balanced and integrated curriculum. In YMCA School-Age Child Care, children and youth practice positive social development in an environmental that teaches responsibility and caring. In addition, YMCA School-Age Child Care programs build developmental assets young people need to succeed in life. The program's curriculum includes homework support, literacy development, games, sports, arts and crafts, and science activities. The program begins the first day of school and follows the school calendar.
