Child Care

preschoolYMCA Preschool and Child Care: YMCA Preschool  and Child Care programs offer a  wonderful place where your child can learn and grow in a safe and nurturing  environment. The programs are operated on an   experiential learning philosophy - children learn by doing. The theme- based curriculum includes skill building for kindergarten readiness through a  literacy- based circle time, arts, dramatic play, math concepts, building blocks and manipulative games, and physical  play. The children learn positive social skills through a  program and staff that teaches and demonstrates the values of honesty, responsibility, caring and respect.  Our preschool and child care programs encourage family involvement through special events, newsletters, parent advisory committees and volunteers in the classrooms. The programs are state licensed and all staff meet or exceed licensing regulations for background checks, education, and experience.
