You can dance if you want to

Beginning Ballet at the YMCA is a series of fun and interactive dance lessons geared toward increasing balance, coordination, concentration, and flexibility. During each one hour lesson dancers are both actively participating in a structured ballet class from a classically trained instructor, and learning invaluable skills through familiar games like follow-the-leader, wait-my-turn, Miss Katy or Simon says, and improvisational freeze dance. Ballet classes consists of warmup exercises in the center, stretching, movements across the floor, and basic choreography. Imaginative games and narratives are incorporated throughout the lesson keeping the dancers focused and engaged while building upon ballet technique, which is said to be the foundation for nearly every other dance style.
