The Diamond Bar/ Walnut YMCA offers several programs to fit the needs of our families.

Our curriculum focuses on developing and nurturing social skills and creativity while building a solid foundation for a positive self image. The “Y” is a place where children have positive role models to look up to and because we believe we hire the best teachers who believe in every child and that they need to be built up to become an integral part of our society. Children are in a safe environment with qualified staff; where they are able to get help with homework and be active with sports and arts. We offer as well both a half-day and a full day preschool program in which we strive to integrate learning through play each and every day. Our children are given the opportunity to grow and develop at their own pace in a loving and caring environment: by offering Science/Math/Cooking activities, Phonetic and Alphabet Awareness, Hands on learning through Art/Music/Literacy and Cultural Awareness through Social Interaction.

Programs start at age 2 thru 14 years old.

We have 2 LAUP programs that will prepare your child for Kindergarten helping them to develop socially and academically.
Morning Session is from 8:00 am – 11:30am
Afternoon Session runs from 12:30 pm – 4:00 pm

We also offer before and after school programs for preschool, kindergarten and school age children.

Our summer program starts June 3, 2012; we offer a combination of academics and physical activities and fun field trips.
